I'm so fucked off with my results, particularly with Spanish. After all the hoo-haa; work and stress and money and time spent, I only got 55% for it. How shit is that? Bastards changing the focus of the exam without warning, dammit! And to add injury to insult; if I had gotten 66% for that one module then I'd be sitting here now with an overall 2:1, part of the educated elite with the world as my fucking oyster, instead of the educational leper I am now.
There's a couple of other key mistakes and bad choices that could have tipped me over if I'd had a little luck, but that one frustrates me the most.
What a fucking joke. The educational system can bite me.

Remember most of these pop-up to much larger versions when you click on them (using up lots of webspace :-/, sorry about that, but it's only for this week! *winning smile*) so clickclickclick! Also leave a comment! Preferably not one trying to sell porn or pharmecueticals.

I'm not terribly much in the blogging mood lately, as you might have guessed. I have a shiteload of really good (imho) pictures from the last few nights to put up, which I will when I'm in the mood. In the mean time: ?Bows on Thursday. It will probably be the last time I see many people. It'll definitely be the last time I go to Rainbows. Not saying it will be good, or bad, or indifferent, coz who can tell what the future brings? All I know is it will be Final. If you want to be involved come along.

More to come… Not that there's not already a whole load of pics on line from
Talia and
Will. :)

Good in places. Overall crap. But that's probably my fault for, I don't know, being me? I felt awkward, witless, lonely, incidental and most of all connectionless for big chunks of the night. To top it all at the end I had to queue for ages for the bus before walking home alone though Leamington while the sun rose, with the backs of both heels scraped raw from new shoes.
I can count the times I've ever felt that bad on one hand.
Even though it's a bit distasteful to put a positive spin on crying yourself to sleep, I have to add that the Scissor Sisters were completely amazing. Go see them.

I've finally finished wrestling with the computer that Laurie kindly donated to me, it makes a whole different sort of growling noise to the old one, it's 2.5 times as fast, 10 times more HD space and 4 times more memory! Woo! It also weighs about 700 times as much, which was a bit of a bummer when having to lug it all the way here from London on crappy Sunday public transport that left me spending the night outside Oxford train station… Muttermuttermutter…
I'm now in the process of recollecting my music collection from CDs of mp3s and putting them all on the hard drive so I can listen to them again… It's been far too long :-) Don't get me wrong, I love radio and audio CDs, but there's something just something incomparable about several days worth of tried-and-tested genius music in winamp on shuffle.
It's the Fling Tomorrow! ARGH! Seeing Ash and the Scissor Sisters! GENIUS! And possibly clubbing in Birmingham on Thursday, we shall see.
Teaching my horse to catch in Black and White is a horrendously painful experience, as I throw rock after rock at it only to have them bounce off his thick head. 'so probably more painful for him them?
By the way if anyone wants to see Mal Educacion ?which follows the intertwining stories of two boys who fall in love at an abusive Catholic school.? at the Arts Center on Friday afternoon then let me know? Almodovar == Genius any day of the week.
Finally, go look at Nick's blog. Why? Well frankly if you need any reason beyond the fact I've never seen so many exclamation marks in the same place at the same time then shame on you, you haven't got the right idea at all!

I finished a whole book on Sunday! It's been a while since I did a book in a day :) Didn't get much sleep though, what with trains being as bad as they are. There are stories behind these photos but hey, I'm too tired to extrapolate, so you can make them up yourself if you like.
There was talk of going out tonight, to Skool Daze or some such, but even given a total best case scenario, it isn't going to come close to how good last night was. Top ten best nights out ever, easily.
Uberprops to everyone who was out.

No more exams ever. Freaky concept. The last one went just about as badly as it could have done, especially given how much damned work I've put into it lately and over the whole damn year, but hey, whatever, it's over now.
The sun is being damned uncooperative, there was not a cloud in the sky at 7:30 this morning when I wasn getting the bus in, yet it was overcast when I got out of my exam. Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever been so happy to be ambushed by a bunch of cava-spraying eedjits, many thanks to the peeps that turned out, as well as those who sent me good luck texts before :-) I did smell slightly (a lot) of alcohol for a while afterwards though.
Only two weeks left until I'm gone forever! (I might visit.) I don't want to waste even one day of it, there's so many peeps I've been neglecting that I want to catch up with.

Everyone (who's not a big steaming pile of lame) must come! I finish my last exam ever at about 11:30 on Friday morning so some major celebrating is called for (after a few hours to catch my breath).
You KNOW it makes sense!
ARGH! I'm up to my eyeballs in debt! This hasn't worried me that much until now becuase it's only now that nasty interest rates start kicking in. I'm ?1,200 in the red on my debit card and have about 11 grand in student loans to pay off. ARGH! And I'm still pretty damn short on clues as to what to do for a living.
*Sigh*
Also, I have a spanish exam on Friday which I am dreading.

Nicked off Matt, cos haven't done one of these for ages!
1. What is your Full Name?
Daniel Jose Govan-Prini
2.What color trousers are you wearing right now?
Black, natch and as-per-usual.
3. What are you listening to right now?
Moloko on Radio 1
4. What are the last two digits of your phone number?
I don't know, I never have to ring it :-P
5. If you were a crayon what color would you be?
Black. Did you ever do that think where you put a bunch of random colours on a piece of paper and then cover the whole thing with black crayon? Then you scrape the black off in a strategic manner to reveal a magnificent technicolour picture, whilst getting your hands, clothes and general surroundings filthy and covered with black crayon shavings. Yes, black. Definitely black.
6. How is the weather right now?
Insanely sunny. I feel all sleepy from being out in the sun too long :-)
7. Last person you talked to on the phone?
Err, my mother maybe?
8. First thing you notice about the opposite sex?
Their height, or lack of it.
9. Do you like the person who sent this to you?
I stole it, but also yes ;-)
10. How are you today?
Sleepy and worried.

There is a lot of bloody good music around at the moment. The I'l listening to The Killers: Mr. Brightside, which is brilliant /and/ at number ten! Yay! There seems to be a trend of very. I'm just getting into Jet and Hope of the States too, though I think I may have been a bit slow to pick up on that one. The Streets are amazing too… I'll stop now - it's not like it's all good anyway - I am sick to death of the "Fuck You" and "Fuck You Right Back" songs at one and two in the charts; I mean enough already!
